Throughout the year, the Harrison Center organizes various opportunities for local artists to showcase their talent, from vibrant group shows that celebrate diverse artistic expressions to art installations that captivate the community.

If you're an artist looking to share your work and connect with fellow creatives, we invite you to submit your artwork for consideration. This is a fantastic chance to gain exposure, expand your network, and be part of a thriving artist community.

The Harrison Center hosts over 72 exhibitions annually across eight unique galleries. For artists interested in presenting their work, please complete the form at the link below.   • King and King Art Installation

    The Harrison Center is seeking entries for a public art project at Oaks Academy Middle School, located on the historic School 26 campus. This campus has expanded to incorporate the site of the former King and King Funeral Home. The Oaks Academy seeks to honor that legacy.

    To be considered, entries must be artwork that incorporates the history and cultural significance of the King and King Funeral Home, its context, and impact. 

    Submissions will open on January 5th, 2026.

  • Annual Color Show

    Each year, we invite submissions that celebrate interpretations of the annual color theme to be displayed in December in our Harrison Gallery and Gallery Annex. Whether your work is inspired by a straightforward interpretation of the hue or a different creative twist, we always look forward to seeing what you come up with!

    To be considered, entries must incorporate the year's color. For this exhibit, we accept work from artists of all skill levels and backgrounds and in all varieties of media.

  • Winter Window Walk

    Since 2015, artists have transformed the Harrison Center's sidewalk-level windows into imaginative displays. Past installations have included a working miniature Ferris wheel and a display that created a warm and snuggly home for live kittens to spur community adoption. The Winter Window Walk is a free, self-guided experience visitors can enjoy from dusk to dawn from November through February.

    This annual contest consists of a juried panel and public voting, which take place at the December First Friday event.
