Astral Itinerary

Taking place in the Sky Gallery throughout May will be an exhibit by Deonna Craig. Astral Itinerary offers a dynamic visual narrative inspired by the artists' global travels, personal transformation, and ancestral connections. It shows discovery and inspiration, all evident in just one exhibition.

Known for her intuitive use of color and expressive abstract style, Craig brings together a collection that includes acrylic paintings, oil pastel works, and mixed-media pieces. Each artwork pulses with energy, embodying the artist's journey across physical and spiritual landscapes. This beautiful array of works conveys Craig's self-discovery inspired by her travels.

Spoken by Deonna Craig, "The artwork displayed will capture movement, discovery, and the ancestral connections I've experienced along the way."

When you look at these works, they all seem to have a deeper meaning to the media. Using abstract to convey symbols of "journeying across dimensions and time." The compositions serve as symbolic maps, rich in texture and layered meaning, inviting audiences to consider their own journeys through space and time. Looking at these works, you can understand these transformations and possibly feel the healing power of them.

Come to the Harrison Center this May to better experience this colorful abstract array of works. You can see Astral Itinerary in May, weekdays between 9am and 5pm, and at the online gallery.
