Meet Jeremiah
Hey all! My name is Jeremiah Ince, and I'm from Washington, DC.
I've completed a couple of internships/residencies with the Harrison Center while in high school, so I felt it made sense to come back before entering my fourth year of college. I'm in the new BA/BFA double degree program at Oberlin College, and in the fifth year, we have to intern with an arts organization in Cleveland. Coming to the Harrison Center feels like a proper introduction to what life in the fifth year may be like.
My main artistic passion is music, but I've also had the opportunity to work on creative writing and cinema. I hope to do all things creative in life post-grad and bring communities together to create new and amazing pieces of art.
This summer, I hope to learn even more about Indianapolis than I did in the past and to interact with parts of the city and the Harrison Center that have changed/shifted since my last visit! I’ll be working with Kenedy at the Polklore Micro-Museum and making music inspired by this amazing place. It will all come together into an album that I will perform at the PreEnact on July 30th!
