Welcome, Andre!
I am Andre Parnell, a dedicated community activist, educator, and visual artist.
I serve as a creative resource committed to preserving local narratives and empowering neighborhood voices. As the new Artist-in-Residence at the Harrison Center’s Polklore Micro-Museum. I will:
-Help curate and make continuous enhancements to the Polklore Micro-Museum to maximize its impact as the collection grows.
-Teach and create art with neighbors and other artists for the museum.
-Expand our Storytelling program to KIPP Indy high school youth to inspire the next generation.
-Host Greatriarch programs at Polklore and the Harrison Center.
All of this work is building deep, personal connections with our honored storytellers and neighbors to actively support their wealth, health, and creative liberation.
