What Caught Caleb's Eye

My name is Caleb Hasper. I am a senior at Herron High School who has many interests including sports and just being active. I also have a passion for school and always learning more. Specifically, I love math and how all the concepts of math work with each other. Before the start of my high school career, I moved from California to Indianapolis, not knowing a single soul. Over the last four years, Herron and Indianapolis has helped shape me into the person I am today.

My assignment on the first day of my Harrison Center internship was to take three pictures of things at the Harrison Center that caught my attention and show what I am passionate about. This helps me learn and explore aspects of my life in different ways that I may not have thought of before.

I took pictures of a snack machine, the Harrison Center gym, and a wheelchair lift. The snack machine was one of my choices because I’m not just passionate about snacks but also food. I love watching food being made and learning different ways to make different dishes.

Next I chose the Harrison Center gym because of my love for sports, specifically basketball. Basketball is my favorite sport.

My last photo is of a wheelchair lift because I love machines and learning about how they work. I would like to become an engineer when I’m older, so, learning about machines always amazes me
