Meet Kyliah

Hi! My name is Kyliah Stewart. I am a junior at Butler University primarily studying Art + Design and minoring in Creative Media and Entertainment. After I graduate in May 2027, I will continue to make art, enhance my social media presence, and work towards a career involving character design, illustration, and visual storytelling. I just started my internship as a video and graphic design intern at the Harrison Center two weeks ago and I plan to intern until next spring. 

I am so grateful to be interning at the Harrison Center! I am surrounded by so much creativity and talent here, which is inspiring and motivating. With my time here, I hope to gain a better understanding of the Indianapolis community, help raise awareness of the arts, and volunteer for events like First Friday. I also plan to grow in my graphic design and video skills and be more familiarized with a professional environment focused on art!

A little more about me: as I mentioned before, I am an artist. I have been passionate about creating characters and telling stories since I could pick up a pencil. I grew up watching a lot of animation, two of my favorite movies being Tangled and Anastasia. I also played a few video games, one being New Super Mario Bros Wii. Being raised with so much creative media has really shaped who I am and my passions!
