Enter the Story of Letter in Blue |
In her most recent body of work, titled Letter In Blue, India Cruse-Griffin is inspired by her parents’ love story that began in 1951. During WWII, while Griffin’s father was serving in the U.S. Army and stationed in Germany, he wrote 47 letters to Griffin’s mother, all on blue stationery.
The letters have been passed down in the family, and Griffin found them to be fitting inspirational sources for her work. “It is my hope that in this thought-provoking work you will find your own peace and sense of security like my mother did when she received each letter in blue,” says Griffin.

Discover William Minion’s Mural Evolution |
Although similar to artist William "Dub" Minion's other works in graphite, murals are “a test of patience and [involve] trusting the process of the work that you're doing."
Minion's work is intrinsically motivated. As an EMT, he responds to extreme situations and sees the impact they have on people, especially within marginalized communities. "Public art isn't meant to be a single person imposing their ideas on the world, but rather making something for the public; they contribute to an environment whether they think they do or not."
