Discover Family Ties: A Shared Artistic Journey |
In their show Family Ties, Melanie Millis Wissel and Mark Millis come together to showcase their close bond through their shared practice of painting.
While their father provided for his family as a doctor, he also instilled in the Millis children a deep love and appreciation for the arts through his service to artists in their community of Richmond, Indiana; Dr. Millis even accepted paintings as payment for medical treatment.
Melanie studied studio art at DePauw University under several acclaimed artists and later interned at the A.I.R. Gallery in New York City. Mark began painting while recovering from surgeries after a career in education, and is now well established in the Southern Indiana art community. Despite different paths, the show reflects the siblings' shared passion for creating and how this has brought them closer together.

Enter Into the Landscape of Memories From Kenya |
Have you ever been enthralled by a place so strikingly beautiful you wanted to share it with others? Memories from Kenya is the culmination of Myrta Pulliam's experience of that and her love for capturing, through lens and paint, the scenery, wildlife, and people that call Kenya home.
While Pulliam's first trip to Africa was in the 90s, her passion for the continent has only grown. She has continued to visit as often as she can and now calls Sirikoi, a part of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, one of her favorite places. She shares, "I've been photographing there all along."
