Meet Eden
Hi, I'm Eden! While I've lived in both Missouri and Guatemala, I most recently moved from Florida, where I earned my degree in Commercial Music from Southeastern University. I am a thinker and a feeler who likes making songs and writing poems. Whether mini voice memo melodies or layered harmonies in a studio, music and writing are mediums I not only love but also admire for how they bring people together in ways few other things can. On my first visit to Harrison Center in the summer of 2025, I was moved by the beautiful range of artwork I found; however, I didn't become connected in any official way until the next year, when I moved to Indy and was connected to Harrison through a new friend there.
I truly value connection and intentional storytelling, two things that are written all over Harrison Center's DNA, which is why I am so excited to work with their staff as a fellow and to write songs of my own while I'm here as a resident songwriter. I studied music in college and was involved in songwriting and recording in high school, but this program is unlike anything I've ever done, and I'm ready to be both stretched and strengthened by it. Most of all, I look forward to the people I'll meet, the stories I'll learn, and the musical style I'll develop.
