Meet Natalie

Hello, my name is Natalie Riddle (she/her), and I am a junior at Franklin College majoring in Creative Writing and English, with a minor in French! I have had a deep, profound love for the arts and humanities from a very young age. From paintings to poems, I advocate for art to be accessible to everyone, since it can help people see, feel, or even create something after encountering it in their lives.

Besides being a student, I am also the Managing Editor of my college's literary journal, Apogee, which publishes a range of media, from creative non-fiction to photography. Through the process, I have learned how artist perceive the world through their own creative lens. I hope that after finishing my undergrad, I get into an M.F.A program and then earn a Ph.D. in English and Classical Literature.

I am super excited to be interning at the Harrison Center, as it is a hub for community, art, and festivals. The Harrison Center lets everyone see how art impacts society at the local and even global levels, which I believe is how we connect as human beings. By identifying what inspires us, we can find creative ways to inspire each other.
