Meet Tamsyn

Hello! My name is Tamsyn Mcintosh (pronounced Tam-zin Mac-in-tosh). I'm a high school student at Herron High School. This is my junior year, and I am the President of my school's Studio Art Club, so, as you can tell, I'm really all about art. When I am older, I want to go into Economics or Supply Chain management, then later get an MBA or Law Degree. I enjoy helping others as a peer tutor at my school. 

I'm just starting my internship at the Harrison Center, and I'm excited to bring my experiences to help with community organizing. A quote from Julius Caesar that inspired me to become an intern is "Alae iacta est," or "the die has been cast" - look it up! I aspire to help share something I love with my community. My time at the Harrison Center will be spent working in administration and event planning. From this experience, I want to learn how to be a better community member & leader for my future goals. When I'm not interning, I'll be doing what I love, art!
