In the Harrison Gallery,

Anthology by Kevin James Wilson. This exhibition showcases the artist's figurative works, spanning over 40 years from his high school years to the present day, incorporating colored pencil, oil painting, and airbrush techniques.

In the City Gallery,

A Story for Every Picture by Melanie Wissel. Discover a range of serene Indiana landscapes captured in oil paintings created en plein air.

In the Gallery Annex,

Multi/Faceted by Liz Nelson and Priya Wittman. This two-person exhibition showcases a collection of abstract mixed-media works that touch on various visual themes, including landscape, architectural form, and pattern field. The pieces exist in a space that blurs the lines between art, craft, and design.

In the Speck Gallery,

Tomorrow’s Today by WE ARE Indy Arts Collective. This exhibit features various visual compositions full of color, shape, form, and cultural symbolism for all to experience. 

In the Hank & Dolly’s Gallery,

Inheritance by Esther Gray. Through their multimedia paintings and sculptures, the artist expresses the concept of existence as an inheritance and the impact of interconnectedness on us and our surroundings.

In the Underground Gallery,

Camaraderie by Emily Persic. This photography collection showcases portraits of artists at the Harrison Center alongside their artistic works.

All shows will open at 6 pm Friday, July 7th. 

In-person gallery tours will open for visitors Monday-Friday from 9 am - 5 pm. Online galleries will open on July 8th. You can make an appointment or view the online galleries at harrisoncenter.org/buy-art.

Special Senior Hours are every Friday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. No appointment is needed.

About the Harrison Center

The Harrison Center is a community-based, nonprofit arts organization that seeks to be a catalyst for renewal in the city of Indianapolis. Founded in 2001, the organization’s work is two-fold. The Harrison Center is for the Arts by hosting 36 artist studios and 8 galleries.
