Be Enchanted in Indy

For the month of September, City Gallery is exhibiting Enchanted in Indy by Kate Orr. This show is a celebration of hidden gems around the city, from beautiful skies to nature parks, through the artist’s impressionistic charcoal and oil paintings.

The show can be viewed anytime in the City Gallery through the month of September: Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The works can also be viewed and purchased on our online gallery through October.

Meet Neia Wallace

My name is Neia Wallace, and I am a 12th-grade student attending Herron High School. My hobbies include dance and cheerleading. I joined the Harrison Center's internship program to explore new opportunities and enhance my skills.

I have always been interested in songwriting and aspire to grow as a singer, but I am also passionate about exploring other creative careers, such as cosmetology, fashion design, and dance. Dancing and performing, especially in hip-hop and majorette styles, have always been a passion of mine. The energy and creativity that comes with these styles of dance fuel my spirit and allow me to express myself in ways that words cannot capture.

The winners of this year's Katharine B. Sutphin Invitational have been announced!

The distinguished panel of jurors included Kjell Wagensteen (Newfields), Mark Ruschman (formerly of the Indiana State Museum), and Charles Sutphin (brother of Katharine B. Sutphin and a board member of both Newfields and the KBS Foundation).
