48 Hour Animation

Holly Fall joined the Harrison Center for a 48 hour residency from Covenant College, and created this fun animation!

The Harrison Center building is full of community that is open, encouraging and inspiring. Harrison Center, ArtMix, Redeemer Presbyterian and the artists who share the building have different motives, but they share the goal to positively impact Indy. On my tour of the three building complex, the historic sanctuary immediately grabbed my attention, especially the far right side window, with glass that was not stained, but clear. Because of this, I soon learned, the light that floods the sanctuary can be blinding. For this reason huge, beautiful wall hangings, made by artists, cover the window. It became clear, throughout my stay, that this attitude of cooperation and acceptance was a common theme. This window is just one look into the creativity and collaboration that exists in this place. This animation is my effort to show this relationship - this window serves as a frame, and the animations that go on behind it are made with the work of the different artists of the Harrison Center.
