Look Twice: Next-Level Collage in No Turn on Red |
Venezuelan artist Mary Mindiola first started collaging magazine pages after a trip left her thinking about how contaminated our planet's water is. She dedicated herself to no longer using paint in her artwork to limit her contribution to plastic pollution. Since then, she's focused on using what is already available to her as her medium, like prints, magazines, and junk mail. Her big question then was, "What world are we leaving our descendants?" and she continues to ask that in her exhibition, No Turn On Red.
Mindiola hopes her lens of Indianapolis in No Turn On Red brings new opportunities for reflection to the viewers. Take time to notice the physical street intersections we frequent, as well as the metaphorical intersections we cross with other people every day.

Explore Imagination Without Limits: If Only |
Dan Thompson is a mixed media artist, muralist, and musician whose artistic practice has taken many forms over the years. Thompson's newest body of work includes an eclectic mix of work that showcases his wide range of visual art.
"If Only is shorthand for: 'If only every idea deserves to become a work of art.' I've spent most of my career as a commercial artist, designing for others' needs. When it comes to the studio, I am the client... I keep coming back to this sentiment. There are so many different things I could draw or that I'd like to paint. So in this body of work, I decided every idea is good enough to be painted or drawn regardless of continuity." The work If Only is painted on a variety of surfaces, including plywood, canvas, and paper, and shows the expansive nature of Thompson's mind, as he always works from imagination.

“Their hope. Their music… perseverance in trials, goodness given in the face of cruelty,” Pascal said. “To them belongs a compelling and startling witness of purity of motives.” Read the full article here. |

A former video production and songwriting intern, Tucker now serves on the Bloombox Festival Advisory Board and helped bring Innovatemap on as this year’s design sponsor. “I really attribute my career now to what Harrison Center let me learn in high school,” he said Read the full blog here. |
