Meet Anaiah

Hey! My name is Anaiah Banks! I'm from Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm studying Arts+Design and Mechanical Engineering through the now-defunct Engineering Dual Degree Program with Butler University and Purdue University. Both of my majors require an internship. I had previously interned at Kroger as an Engineering Intern, but now it's time to let my artistic side shine! I had first been introduced to the Harrison Center through a First Friday event. I was entranced by all the art and the labyrinth that is the Harrison Center. It was one of the first places I applied to when I was looking for an internship.

I have a passion for animation and hope to become great at it one day! The influx of the indie animation scene has really given me hope. I love storytelling and all forms of visual media. I primarily want to go into the film industry in the future. I also enjoy drawing, dabbling in painting and photography, character designing, dancing, watching animations, and creative writing. I love all forms of art and want to learn a little bit of everything.

I hope that I will be able to get more experience with different types of art forms while being able to satisfy what I need to accomplish. I also hope to learn from and meet more artists. I'm really excited about this internship, and I can't wait to find out what I'll get to make!
