Have you ever considered wrapping your next meal in foil and warming it over the heat of your car engine? Have you ever thought to join the hype of microbreweries and craft a beer in the basement of your own home? We know a few foodies in the urban Indy community who have, and Food Con V at the Harrison Center for the Arts is bringing them together from 5pm-9pm Friday, July 3 so that they can share their tricks of the trade!

Attendees can enjoy food from a selection of local food trucks and discover their next food venture from an array of vendors who are eating it up in the urban food scene of Indianapolis. Vendors will host tables in the HCA courtyard and engage guests by sharing their unique spin on food, drink, gardening, health, foraging, and more! Creative and interactive activities will also be hosted in the gymnasium for the youngest foodies of Indy to take part in the joys of food.

Food Con V is completely free to the public, and there will something fun for all ages. The evening will be in combination with July's IDADA First Friday and can serve as an ideal way to kick off the Independence Day weekend. Join us as artists, foodies, and members of the sustainable food community come together in a delightfully unconventional convention!
