It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since Herron High School started in the basement of the Harrison Center with 99 students. In those 10 years Herron has grown to accommodate 840 students along with a healthy wait list and is excited to be opening a second high school. Riverside High School is the newest name in the Herron tradition. The second campus located in the historic Heslar Naval Armory is set to open with 200 freshmen in August of 2017. It plans to continue to add one grade level each year until it reaches a peak enrollment of grades 9-12.

Enrolling at Riverside High School means your student will receive the same award-winning high school education as those who attend Herron High School – the original campus in downtown Indianapolis. Riverside High School is founded on the same belief that a classical, liberal arts education, where students are steeped in great historical thought and invention, is the best preparation for a future life of leadership and service. Riverside High School, like its predecessor, Herron High School, will distinguish itself with an educational experience which combines a classical, liberal arts curriculum with a college preparatory focus.

Enrollment applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. An Open House for both campuses will be held on November 3rd, 2016 from 5:30-8:30pm at Herron High School, 110 E 16th St.,Indianapolis, In 46202.  Open enrollment will also be available online from Nov. 3-10th.
